As a pure blooded Caviteño, I always appreciate visiting attractions in Cavite. So when the rest of the family decided to go to Balite Falls for a picnic, I wouldn't let it pass. Balite Falls Resort is located along Crisanto M. Delos Reyes Ave. in Amadeo Cavite.

From Manila, it around 1 1/2 hrs ride, and from neighboring Cavite Towns, it's around 30-45 mins. to get there. The resort is a perfect place for friends and families who wish to cool down from the summer heat and for those picnic lovers. Rates are very affordable and really suits your budget.
Stroll down and take a dip at the falls as you feel the cool and fresh water running through.
Just above, overlooking the falls are cottages you can rent perfect for those family picnics.
You can also enjoy walking in the gardens of the resort.
Here are some tips if you want to visit Balite Falls:
1. It it best if you go to Balite Falls by your own public vehicle. The route when you are commuting is not that convenient due to multiple drop offs and transfers.
2. If you want a more relaxed atmosphere, avoid visiting on holidays. The resort can be jammed pack during these times.
3. The resort is just is more on the nature side and do not expect first class facilities and services.
4. It is also best if you bring your own food when you visit the resort. There are no restaurants nearby.
5. Have everything you need, cash, toiletries, etc. Although there is a sari-sari store nearby, it does not guarantee that they have what you require.
