While passing the time, me and my boys agreed to go to the National Museum Of The Philippines in Manila. I believe it is one of the largest museums in the Philippines. The whole building is comprised of 3 floors all showcasing Philippine work of art like paintings, sculptures, artifacts and murals with cultural and historical significance.
Entrance to the museum is free of charge. All you have to do is log on their visitor book and you are all set to enter. Just make sure you visit the museum on their opening hours which is Tuesdays-Sundays from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
The real reason why i wanted to visit the National Museum is to see the Spoliarium. Spoliarium is a painting master pieced by Juan Luna that features the bloody carnage of gladiators of the Roman Empire. Often times, it is misspelled as 'Spolarium'. Once you enter the museum this grand painting 2 stories high is not to be missed. It is the main attraction of the museum.
After taking our turn for selfies with the Spoliarium, the boys just explored the rest of the museum. Here are some of the exhibits in the museum.
Here are some reminders if you want to visit the museum:
