Considered as the largest choreographed fountain system in the world, the Dubai fountain is one of the most sought-of attractions in UAE. DUBAI'S OLD SOUK, GOLD SOUK, AND SPICE SOUK
Although Dubai seems to be a modern and futuristic city, it has preserved some of its traditional villages and souks. Souk is an Arabic term for marketplace or stores. In Dubai, the old souk, the gold souk, and the spice/herb souk are the most visited by tourist. You may have to ride a AED1 Abra ride (Abra is a traditional boat) to go between these souks. When you visit or plan to buy in these souks, make sure you haggle for the best prices and be weary of your belongings.

Here are some tips if you want to visit the listed places above:
- Dubai is part of the middle east and mostly, this is a Desert Area. At times it can be very hot in this place specially during summer time June - August. So, I suggest you visit during the colder months from November - March.
- For like attractions like the Dubai Frame, Flying Cup, and Lost Chambers Aquarium, make bookings online through tour operators like Klook, Cobone, Viator, etc. Just compare and get the ones with the best deals and inclusions.
- I always recommend to avail of the Hop-on Hop-off Tourist Bus as it mostly covers all tourist destinations and you can tour at your own pace. If you avail of the 7-day ticket, you get the Flying Cup and Lost Chambers entrance tickets for free.
- When you are in the old souks, take care of your belongings, as pick pockets are often reported. Just bring appropriate cash as some stalls don't accept debit or credit cards. It is also good to have friends accompany you to these places as some merchants seem to be to aggressive specially to ladies
- If you wish to watch the fountain show, i suggest you view it in a restaurant or cafe on the upper floors of Dubai Mall. Often times, the public balconies get crowded.
