If you are looking for a very good lobster and prime rib buffet in San Diego
CA, The Buffet at Valley View Casino & Hotel is the one for you.
It's an award winning buffet in San Diego that specializes in all-you-can-eat
Maine Lobster and Prime Rib.
After the pandemic, they changed the way that they do the buffet. You
don't have to go to the food stations to get your food. Instead, a
server will show you a menu of what is available in the buffet, and they will
be bringing you the food. You are only allowed to order four (4) dishes
at a time though. You can always order more afterwards. I guess
they did this to be more safe, but for me, it doesn't give you the joy of
getting your own food at the amount you like because the servers usually get a
big portion which in turn fills you up faster.
The Buffet is open from 4:00PM to 8:30PM Monday to Fridays and from 3:00OM to
8:30PM Saturday and Sunday. Price per person is $49 with a mandatory
service charge of $7. This buffet is very prominent and there can be a
long queue during peak hours. I don't think they accept reservations so
be prepared unless you are a VIP Casino member to enter the fast lane.
One thing to note is that anyone 18 years old and below are not allowed to
enter.
