Jalan Alor - Kuala Lumpur's Famous Food Strip

When you visit Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, do not pass the chance to visit Jalan Alor.  Jalan Alor is a street in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, full of food stalls as well as restaurants catering all kinds of authentic Asian dishes and street foods.  The street comes to life during night time where tourists and locals flock the street to dine and hang out.

After our KL Tour, we decided to eat dinner at Jalan Alor.  Once we got there, we took a stroll on the whole street first before deciding on where and what to eat.

After strolling the street, and after trying out some of the street foods, we decided to have Tom Yum, Fried Rice and Thai Beer for dinner.

I strongly recommend that you visit Jalan Alor when you are in Kuala Lumpur to have dinner or late snack.  Food choices are endless and prices are fairly affordable.

Ambiance:  8/10 ( mostly street dinning but a great experience)

Cleanliness:  7/10 (not as clean since it is a food night market)

Service: 7/10 (restaurants serve,15-20 minutes waiting time)

Establishment:  8/10 (within the city so its not difficult to locate)

Price:  8/10 (reasonable prices)

Overall:  7.83/10 (recommended to visit)

Atmosphere 360 Revolving Restaurant - Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

When you are in Kuala Lumpur, one of the most prestigious restaurant is the Atmosphere 360.  It is a revolving restaurant situated 282 meters at the top of KL Tower.

It's a buffet restaurant serving Lunch, Afternoon tea / Hi-Tea, and Dinner with a fusion of modern and traditional Malay and International dishes.

 Although it is a revolving restaurant, you wouldn't feel that it was moving at all.  You'll just notice that you are looking at a different place in the glass panels after some time.  This restaurant is perfect for family get together or romantic dates.   You will also be given access to the observatory if you dine here.  Visit this restaurant if you are in Kuala Lumpur for an extraordinary dinning experience.

Food/Taste:  7/10 (for me, taste was good but not great)

Ambiance:  10/10 (dine with stunning views of Kuala Lumpur)

Cleanliness:  9/10 (very clean)

Service: 8/10 (good service)

Establishment:  8/10 (within KL Tower)

Price:  7/10 (prices on the high side, I suggest going for Afternoon Tea only just for experience)

Overall:  8.17/10 (food is ok but the experience is worth it)

Frequency Meter:  I would dine here once only in my lifetime
