Los Angeles is home to a lot of restaurants for basically all cuisines you know. Asian, European, American, Mediterranean, you name it, and this city has it. So when I came here, and can't seem to decide what cuisine should I try, I just opt to go to a buffet restaurant and maximize my chances of trying out different food. And yes, Los Angeles also has a lot of buffet restaurants from expensive ones to those that provide value for your money.
This buffet restaurant named "#1 Buffet",(nice name, to attract customers), is one of the go to places for buffet lovers in the Lawndale area of Los Angeles. It has a good variety of dishes at a very reasonable price, $12 before 3pm, and $15 after 3pm, then kids pay half.
Here are some pics of the buffet items when we went there:
My personal favorites are the Honey Glazed Shrimp, Garlic Shrimp, Orange Chicken, Dungeness Crabs, Beef Broccoli, their hot soups. Compared to other buffet restaurants of similar class that I have been to in this area, food here tastes better and they provide more variety. The buffet comes with unlimited drinks as well so it really is value for your money.
We enjoyed dining here and will definitely come back if we are in the area.
