Butcher Shop And Grill - Manama, Bahrain

We dropped by City Center Mall in Bahrain to buy some stuff and at the same time find a place to have lunch.  We stumbled upon this interesting restaurant called the "Butcher Shop and Grill".  What's unique about this restaurant is that you can order in 2 ways.  One option is to choose any fresh meat cut in the counter and have them cooked it the way you want to based on their cooking options

Different cut differ in prices and is charged by the weight of the meat.  You can also opt to add side dishes from their menu at an extra cost.  The second option is to directly order from their menu.

The restaurant serves a variety of beef, lamb, chicken, seafood, and vegetarian dishes.  Although it was interesting to try out the customized meat selection option, we just decided to order directly from the menu.

Chicken Espetada

Another unique food item that they offer is their aged meats.  I didn't see it earlier so I was not able to order it.  I only saw it after we finished eating.  It would be interesting to try it out next time we come back.

My Rating:

Food/Taste:  8/10 (It's good but not the best I had)

Ambiance:  7/10 (its within the mall but other branches might have better ambiance)

Cleanliness:  8/10 (establishment is fairly clean)

Service: 9/10 (very good service, specially with kabayan serving us)

Establishment:  8/10 (within the mall)

Price:  6.5/10 (a bit overpriced for me with regards to serving size)

Overall: 7.75/10 (I'll still give it another try)

Frequency Meter:  I would dine here once a year
