Mala Hot Pot - One Of The Best Hot Pot Restaurants - Taipei City Taiwan

Hot Pot have always been one of my favorite food.  And since Taipei is very well known for it's hot pot restaurants, it is only a must that we went to one in our Taipei trip.  And the only thing better than a Hot Pot restaurant is a All-You-Can-Eat Hot Pot restaurant.  We checked and researched for the best A.Y.C.E. Hot Pot restaurants near the area we are staying and Mala Hot Pot came at the top of the search results.  It is probably the one of the most famous All-You-Can-Eat Hot Pot Restaurants in Taipei.

We came to the restaurant a bit early anticipating a queue. And we were right, there is already a long line 30 mins before it was open.  Which is a good indication that this is a really good Hot Pot Restaurant.

First is you choose the soup base that you want.  The pot has a divider so you can select 2 soup base at a time.  Then, for the meat cuts, you will be pre-ordering this from the waiters and I believe you can only order 4 types of meats at a time.  You can order another batch anytime after.  The rest, like the veggies, cold cuts, and seafood, you can get at the buffet trays as you wish.

They have a wide variety of hot pot ingredients to choose from and the quality is really good.  The sauce station was intensive as well as the dessert and beverage station.

We really enjoyed eating here.  The meat cuts are of good quality, huge variety of hot pot items, and the soup base was really good.  Our favorite is their signature Spicy Mala Hot Pot soup base.  It goes well with all of the ingredients.  There is a 90 minute time limit when dining here though, so make sure to make most of your dining experience.
