Modern Toilet Restaurant - Unique Toilet Themed Restaurant - Taipei City, Taiwan

 

Modern Toilet Restaurant is a popular restaurant in Taipei City, Taiwan which is known for it's toilet and poop theme. It is considered as one of the unique/weird restaurants in the world.  This restaurant have been featured in many youtube, facebook, and instagram post and has acquired fame over the years.  So, when we went to Taipei, we didn't pass the chance to visit it.

The exterior of the building builds you up to what's in-store for you inside.  Through toilet seating, bathroom sink tables, and even poop and toilet display accessories, these restaurant really sticks to their theme.

Grilled Porkchop With Red Wine Sauce

It was an enjoyable experience dinning in this restaurant.  Good thing we got here on a week day.  Some say that it can get packed during weekends.  The toilet themed is really an experience and something to try.

My Rating:

Food/Taste:  7/10 (food is decent the curry is quite good)

Ambiance:  8/10 (the unique theme is really an experience)

Cleanliness:  8/10 (fairly clean)

Service: 7/10 (staff are friendly and helpful just a little bit struggling speaking English)

Establishment:  7/10 (great location but did not have their own parking)

Price:  6/10 (a little bit on the pricey side)

Overall: 7.17/10 

Frequency Meter:  I would dine here once a year
