There are only a handful of Korean BBQ restaurants in Temecula and DPoong is
one of the best by far. What I like about DPoong is the quality of their
meats and the service. Just by looking at the image above, you can see
how the meat is well marbled which is always favorable in meat cuts. For
those who have never tried Korean BBQ, it's basically ordering different types
of meats, like beef, pork chicken and sometimes seafood where in you have a
table side grill to cook the meats the way you want it. For Korean BBQ
it always come with a variety of Korean appetizers called Banchan.
For DPoong, they offer Combo meals for groups but you can also order meats
separately. Here is their pricing at the time that we went there:
Most common meats on a Korean BBQ are Beef Short Ribs, Brisket, Pork Belly,
Chicken and Shrimp. Since we came here as a group, we ordered Combo 3
and added a bit of extra to satisfy our appetite.
We had a great time dining here and was also impressed by their customer
service. The staff were very friendly and were always checking on us if
we needed anything. Even the owner was checking on us and making sure
that we are having a good time.
