Manpuku Japanese Yakiniku Grill - Top Rated Japanese BBQ Restaurant - Los Angeles CA U.S.A.

Manpuku is a Japanese yakiniku grill restaurant that specializes in quality meats with Japanese hospitality and authentic atmosphere.  Aside from the meats for grilling, they also have a wide range of traditional Japanese dishes, including sushi, sashimi, tempura, ramen, and udon.   Manpuku means “to be happy with a full stomach” in Japanese.

Right now we are in their West Hollywood branch. It's a small restaurant so it can be filled quite easily.  It is suggested that you make reservations on this branch so you can avoid long waiting times.  In this Yakiniku restaurant, bite-sized cuts of raw beef, pork, seafood and vegetables are cooked to perfection at your table over gas or charcoal grills. Food is eaten hot and fresh off the grill with each delicious piece cooked exactly to your personal taste.

Here is their Menu:

I have read great reviews about this restaurant so we were excited to try out the quality cut meats they have.  If you look at their menu, you'll just see American Wagyu.  But, if you ask the waiter, they can serve you A5 grade Japanese Wagyu Beef at market price which is not on the menu.  So, we actually tried that out.  Here is what we ordered:
Fresh Corn

Unni & Kobe Beef Sashimi

Egg Soup

Garlic Fried Rice

Prime Beef Tasting

Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef At Market Price - Not in Menu, Ask Waiter for details

And the reviews are legit.  The quality of meats here is superb.  I really can't get enough of the meat cuts that they have served us.  We didn't even bother to order the other meats like chicken, pork or seafood.  We are here for the beef.  I also love on their food presentation which feels like fresh, oriental, and authentic.  No wonder this is a highly rated restaurant in West Hollywood.
