TapChix... Tapsi With Chicken Skin

You can find Tapsilog anywhere in the Philippines. It is the most common food being served in a restaurant. That's why most restaurants are finding new ways on how to improve their Tapsi. Here in Marulas, Kawit, Cavite, while searching for a "Tapsihan", to satisfy my craving for Tapsilog, we came about TapChix. Quite intrigued with their name, we tried it out.

It's a small "Tapsihan" inside a residential compound. I bet you won't find it if you have no directions on where it is. It is quite hidden, you have to enter a small street just near the barangay hall.

What's different in their "silog meals" is that they all serve it with crispy chicken skin on top. It is a perfect compliment to the "silog meals".

They also serve iced tea in a pitcher at P30.00

All meals are very affordable and more than enough to satisfy your cravings.


My Rating:

Food/Taste: 9/10 (tastes good and chicken skin really compliments the tapsi)
Ambiance: 5/10 (it's in a nipa hut setting, not a venue for your romantic date but good for barkadas)
Cleanliness: 7/10 (establishment is fairly clean)
Service: 8/10 (courteous staff and fast order time)
Establishment: 6/10 (hard to find and no parking area)
Price: 10/10 (very affordable price)
Overall: 7.5/10 (its worth going back to)
