Kainan Sa Balsa, Bacoor Cavite, Philippines

Kainan Sa Balsa is one of my favorite restaurants in Cavite because we frequently dine here since I was a child.  From then till now, I'm still amazed on their dining set-up.  Here, you will be dining on bamboo rafts (balsa) with nipa huts literally floating on a pond.

This restaurant specializes on grilled pork and seafood, but they also have other dishes on their menu. Today, we craved for something grilled, so here's what we ordered:

Grilled Squid Tentacles - yes just the tentacles... It looks like chicken intestine at first glance. Each stick costs P30.

Grilled Liempo (pork belly) - classic grilled pork belly that is flavorful just the way i like it.

Food/Taste:  9/10 (simple but flavorful dishes just the way I like it)

Ambiance:  9/10 ( great for chilling out specially at night)

Cleanliness:  8/10 (establishment is clean)

Service: 7/10 (needs improvement)

Establishment:  8/10 (easy to locate with ample parking space)

Price:  9/10 (very affordable)

Overall:  8.33/10 (worth trying)
