Carl's BBQ - Coron Palawan, Philippines

After the fun filled day of island hopping adventures in Coron, burning all that calories swimming and trekking, we are all famished and need some good food.  There are a lot of restaurants and eateries in Coron so we asked our hotel receptionist for recommendations.  She showed us a list of recommended restaurants and Carl's BBQ was one of them.

Just along San Agustin St.

Entrance

Carl's BBQ is a small restaurant in the town proper catering mainly Filipino and a bit of International dishes.  They also have a bar so you can also hangout and chill out for the rest of the evening.  What I love about the place is the separate nipa hut set-up perfect for couple or small groups.

We ordered the following:

Kimchi Stew

Ginisang Kang Kong

Tuna Sisig

Grilled Stuffed Squid

Crispy Pata

Dynamite Cheese Sticks

The food was really good.  I love the Tuna Sisig.  We ordered a lot and nothing was wasted.  After filling our tummies we decided to kill more time and chill out.  We had some cocktails and rum shots.

Rum Shots

I highly recommend that you try out Carl's BBQ when you are in Coron.  Food really taste great and the the ambiance is good especially at night.
